ABOUT

Verena is a Chinese-Indonesian classical pianist from Jakarta, Indonesia. She started playing piano at the age of five. She completed her DipLCM in Piano Performance in 2014 and has won several piano competitions internationally. Recently, she won the Silver Award in the Professional category at the Singapore International Chinese Piano Competition in 2019.

She graduated with a Music Diploma from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in 2019 under the tutelage of Mrs Rena Cheung Phua. She is currently in her final year at LASALLE College of The Arts, pursuing BA(Hons) Music in Classical Piano Performance under the tutelage of Mr Benjamin Loh.

Verena has been involved in many performances including Piano Voyage VIII: Night at the Opera (2021), NAFA Piano Platform (2019). She was also in the NAFA Choir and performed Die Fledermaus Operetta at NAFA's 80th Anniversary (2018), Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 (2017), Rossini's Stabat Mater (2017), 250th Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Marathon Music
